Created and Collected

Meet Samm, Lost in the Lace creator, her husband, and their adorable pup!

Meet Samm, Lost in the Lace creator, her husband, and their adorable pup!

Each piece is either handmade or hand selected with love & you in mind. Lost in the Lace founder, Samm, grew up shopping at secondhand shops, wearing hand-me-downs, and pining for the vintage items in her grandmothers’ closets. Now, as an adult, not much has changed- except maybe the fact that grandma’s vintage was secured.

Samm created Lost in the Lace to share with you her love for vintage and her original & vintage inspired designs. She earned her bachelors degree studying fashion design & merchandising, favoring pattern-making and design.

Lost in the Lace is something that was created while Samm was creating her wedding dress. The Instagram page was just to document progress without her husband seeing. Fast-forward a little over a year later, Samm is creating custom pieces for fashion lovers nationwide.

OUR SUSTAINABLE PROMISE

As we know, climate change is very real! Shopping vintage and secondhand is a great way to reduce our carbon footprint. The fashion industry wreaks havoc on the earth. Lost in the Lace strives to be sustainable by creating up-cycled designs, not wasting fabric scraps, shopping secondhand & vintage, and using as many recycled materials as possible to create these designs (things like recycled paper for patterns and wrapping). We appreciate you shopping environmentally friendly with us!

CULTURE

Lost in the Lace is committed to fun, color, equality, slow fashion, sustainable practices, female empowerment, equal human rights, and the love of fashion. We love and embrace those who dare to wear who they are on their sleeves.
